Conference of the Birds

The Conference of the Birds Outdoor Performance Summer School is an opportunity for people aged 8+ to be part of a fast-paced, visually stunning, outdoor adventure featuring colourful masks and amazing puppets.

Summer school students will work for 6 days with three professional artists from the Faceless Company, developing all the necessary mask, puppetry and visual, ensemble outdoor performance skills to present, with confidence, this tried and tested, inspiring and visually arresting outdoor performance in their home town, village green, college or community event by the end of the week.

All sets, props and costumes are provided.  You will be working with the Faceless team as if you are a member of our company for the duration of the summer school.

No experience is necessary.  Simply bring yourself, your energy and enthusiasm.  The project is suitable for community groups, families, students and artists either at the start of their careers or experienced artists who wish to develop further their performance skills in an outdoor setting.
