COMMUNITY ARTS PAST PROJECTS
JOSEPH HARRISON, Wakefield
Since February 2006, thanks to funding from the Joseph Harrison Trust, Faceless has worked with young people with severe and multiple learning disabilities for two days each year, exploring their wishes and aspirations through creative, themed storytelling journeys. Themes vary and have included Treasure Island and The Enchanted Forest. Working in conjunction with Open Door and Wakefield Home Based Break Support Services, young people aged 11 to 18 have accessed the workshops and activities have included:

- Music
- Visual Arts

CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, Intake High School Leeds
Faceless' artists took up residence at Intake High School in February 2006. They worked with pupils to adapt the famous children's story into a play. The show toured to feeder primary schools, where a separate chorus of oompah loompas was rehearsed into the production. Young people aged 6 to 16 were involved in the project. The workshops covered a variety of activities leading towards the production and included:

BREEZE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, Leeds
In 2005, Faceless led workshops with pupils from Mount St Mary's High School, Leeds over 8 days to create a performance based on carnival from around the world for the Breeze International festival. The finished performance was staged at West Yorkshire Playhouse. Young people aged 11 to 14 were involved in the project and the workshops covered a variety of activities, including:
- Carnival costume
- Mask
- Samba
- Dance
