ABOUT US

Bev Adams, Artistic Director & CEO 1990 – present
Educated in South Africa and at Bretton Hall, Gitis Academy Moscow and Middlesex University, London, Bev’s passion is for non verbal physical visual outdoor performance. Since founding Faceless, Bev continues to perform, adapt and direct a range of outdoor performance and community productions for the company .

Tony Wade, Creative Director 2002-present. BA Hons Fine Art Bretton Hall.
In 1996, after spending 10 years building fire sculptures, touring as a street performer and musician and running a free outdoor music festival, Tony joined Faceless. As Creative Director for Faceless, Tony provides technical support for all projects, designs community parades and projects, and makes & creates Faceless’ walkabout characters, sets & props.

Charlie Wells, Community Engagement Manager 2006- present. BA Performing Arts - Music Middlesex University 2001.
A singer, musician & facilitator, Charlie ordinates the company’s community engagement programme. Charlie’s has worked at the National Theatre, Gymboree Play & Music, Yorkshire Dance and with an ensemble of disabled actors, Full Body & the Voice.

Matt Morton, Admin Manager.
Matt joined Faceless in 2006, having previously worked as administrator for a marketing company in Leeds. Matt ensures that street performance projects and people get to the right place at the right time. He is also a musician and is particularly adept at keeping our IT systems working.

Jackie Woodhead, Freelance Management Accountant
Jackie manages Faceless’ finances and payroll.


Faceless would like to acknowledge the work of Rik Stack (Associate Director and founder member 1990 to 2004) as key contributor to many of the company’s street performance, community arts and event management projects.
